Issue 3
  personal note from darshana

I know I said that last week would be the last week I talked about the cleanse but I just HAD to share this recipe with you. My assistants made this soup for the San Francisco cleansers. Everyone loved it and I wanted to tell you about it too.

I hope you have a healthy and happy week!

Chow for now,

  recipe of the month

This recipe is from RAW: The Uncook Book by Juliano Brotman

When I say easy I mean easy. Especially if you use Frozen Organic Butternut squash and Frozen Organic Mango. That makes this soup super - super simple and FAST!

Perfect as the weather starts to change.

You can freeze it and if you want to make it into popsicles for the kids that’s a great idea too!

Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

3 cups raw butternut squash (or the frozen)
1 mango  (or the frozen)
2 tsp curry
4 cups orange juice
1/2 cup honey or dates

OPTIONAL for garnish:
minced jalapeno
banana slices
1/2 c chopped mint
diced mango

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend till smooth
